General Clarence E. McKnight led the US Army into the modern age of computer warfare developing portals through which new channels of digitalizations flowed to a welcoming civilian usage. A graduate of West Point Academy, McKnight rose to the rank of Commanding General of the US Army's Signal Corps developing technology used by all the military services.
