Synopsis
Jen Delazzeri never expected to see Max Rickman again. Their brief but intense affair was a mistake: they were young and he was grief stricken at losing his fiancée in a fire. Besides, he'd told Jen he didn't love her. All good reasons she'd kept their daughter a secret for thirteen years. Now they're together again on fire duty--he as a smoke jumper, she as a reporter.
